"Two And A Half White Guys : Leather Jackets And Moustache Wax"

Two And A Half White Guys, funny name, serious ska. These new comers hail from Utah (who knew they had ska?). This band really knows how to put on a show, mixing all sorts of styles into one song, reggae, dub, ska, dancehall and then a little funk just for good measure. This is their third cd but their major label release and the first on Megalith. With a huge fan base already established, Megalith is excited about this band and what they have in store for the future of ska. - Megalith Records

Bio

Among the many well kept secrets that Utah keeps, you’ll find a band that serves up a fresh treatment to an old style of music. Drawing on sounds as diverse as a well-stocked mini bar, Provo, Utah’s “Two and a Half White Guys” leaves a trail of cultishly-devoted listeners behind them wherever they go.

Their infectious sound is heavy on Jamaican-style groove and stamped with the “Two and a Half White Guys” fingerprint. Fierce devotion to originality holds this act together. Don’t be fooled by the cry of front man Nathan Robinson’s workingman philosophies, this is a ‘good times’ band, producing a natural musical chemistry enhanced by a dedicated touring schedule throughout North America.

Adding to the group’s veteran status, members of 2 ½ White Guys have appeared on-stage opening for bands such as No Doubt, The Toasters, The Specials, Cake, Everclear, Bush, Howard Jones, Fishbone, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Slackers, Hepcat, The NYC Ska/Jazz Ensemble, Chris Murray and Dave Wakeling, (formerly of the English Beat).

The Year 2004 was full of milestones for the hard working sextet: Two and a Half White Guys was officially invited to join the Megalith Records family, who sponsored the band’s fouth release and second full-length studio album “Leather Jackets and Moustache Wax”.
