"Good Music Will Go On Forever!"

At the beginning of 2007 I reviewed an album by a bunch of guys who had a love for classic rock ala The Black Crowes, Badlands early Nugent and our very own Bad Company, the band’s name Two Daze Gone. Roughly six months later and the band have a brand new album out and this time round they hone that classic rock sound by throwing in bits of the Eagles, Free and Blackfoot, especially in the vocals of the wonderful Dave Kechut who really reminds me of Ricky Medlock on these song’s and then adding in their own sound and style which really makes these ten songs work.

Not many bands these days make music like this anymore (which is a shame) most deciding that jumping on one of the popular music bandwagons will get them by (which usually doesn’t happen). What I really like about TDG is the way they steadfastly stick to their guns and play and record classic rock music, instead of joining in with what is regarded as being trendy at the moment. Listen to "California", "Outlaw Man" which is very Molly Hatchet in style, the Beatles influenced "What Happened To Yesterday", "The Last Dramatic Role" or the storming "Stealer" and then tell me you don’t have a big smile on your face. Again co- produced by Tony Brock , TDG have recorded an album they can be justly proud of, full as it is with good time rock’n'roll music .

Two Daze Gone are one of those bands who are proud to play classic rock for as they say themselves, "Those who still love listening to their kind of music”, be sure to make yourself one of those people because For Anyone Listening is an album bursting at the seams with great songs, great performances and it’s an album that shows that good music will go on forever. Bio

The band was formed with the intention of writing and recording a classic rock record filled with all the great influences of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Every song takes the listener on a completely different journey while still capturing the sound and landscape of the unforgiving desert known as Southern California.

A major record company or long list of high profile contacts won’t be found here. “We release our records on our own label so we can make the music we want to make, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do”.
