"Shiner Semi-Finals"

"Two Door Ford, without a doubt, played their hearts out and were not getting off that bit with a laid back feel of country and when it came to their rendition of “Simple Man”, Darryl Lee Rush, Kelly Dearmore, and Joshua Jones were feelin’ it."

"Shiner Rising Star 2010"

"The four-piece act belted out some solid tunes that would likely remind Reckless Kelly fans of their favorite band's younger days…exciting things surely lay ahead. If nothing else, Two Door Ford provided further proof that there is just an insane amount of talent in Fort Worth. "
- Kelly Dearmore--Dallas Observer

"Two Door Ford"

"Two Door Ford also has that more edgy sound that seems to predominantly come out of Texas, Oklahoma with the few exceptions of other bands from other parts of the country. Front man and lead singer Zach Figueroa talked with me about a few shows that he has played, including Shiner Rising Star. They have been compared to Reckless, and Micky and the Motorcars. He gets some of his inspiration from old Blues, Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. He likes the more “in your face edgy country”, and I would have to agree. Some of the musical inspirations of the guys range from Cody Canada, to Tom Petty to Rush. And most of the guys are currently listening to Reckless and Micky, so it does make sense that they have that edgy sort of “Southern Rock” feel. With the style of their music I have no doubts that it shouldn’t be a problem to get a little air time. These guys are going to do well, just given the exposure. "

Bio

Storming on to the Texas Music Scene is Two Door Ford, a Red Dirt Country band out of Fort Worth, TX.

Formed in 2009, the band quickly began playing around the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

In early 2010, they released their first EP entitled Empty Pockets and summed up the year as finalist in the 2010 Shiner Rising Star Competition.

Fresh off the Shiner Rising Star competition, Two Door Ford stepped back into the studio and released their debut album "Long Holiday" in June 2011. It featured everything from Southern Rock tunes in “Something's Gotta Change”, “809 Blues” and “Amazed” to a Country ballad with the title track “Long Holiday”.

Over the next year, Two Door Ford began to play shows throughout the Red Dirt Country scene in Texas and build their fan base.

With a new attitude and new material in hand, Two Door Ford was eager to jump back in to the studio. In June 2012, Two Door Ford began work on their follow up album with Producer/Engineer Jonathan Roye.

Two Door Ford should have some new material out very soon. In the mean time, they continue to grow as a band and play shows across Texas. There is little doubt these Country Rockers are hard at work to be the next household name in Texas Music.
