Bio

Bio:
Two Liner is a high energy five piece rock band from Kitchener Ontario. Their blend of classic rock, hard rock and punk rock gives them the ability to preform with various artists and still be singled out as one of the most enjoyable bands of the night. Killer riffs, amazing stage presence, sing-a-long melodies, face-melting guitar solos and a passion for the music is what makes Two Liner one of the most entertaining bands out there today. If you don't believe it, just come and see for yourself and you won't be disappointed.

Influences: Classic Rock (AC/DC, Kiss, Van Halen), Modern Hard Rock (Danko Jones, The Trews, Metallica), Punk Rock (NOFX, Rancid)

The music Two Liner plays can't be classified into one basic genre. The aspects of classic rock, modern rock, and puck rock are very noticeable but their individual influences also make this band very different from you typical rock band. Elements of metal, pop, and alternative are what shape the edges of Two Liner's fun, catchy, foot-tapping sound.

Story:
Two Liner formed from former bands members looking to play some good music and have some fun. The music became classic rock, then a little faster, then a little heavier and then it progressed into something they had never thought possible. After writing five songs and recording their first release" Le Sex Machine" EP, Two Liner took their band experience and their high energy preforming and showed the dying scene of Kitchener some life. Two Liner became one of the most popular rock bands in town after playing a couple shows in the area and out doing themselves each time. Growing up listening to punk rock and playing now playing (classic) rock, blending the two seemed to be the perfect idea. That idea didn't hit until one of Two Liner's most recognizable songs, "Forgotten Son", was created and loved by their crowds. Thinking outside the box and bringing in their puck rock roots in with their love of good old rock n roll brought out a new side of the band. Things were coming together smoothly so the band decided to record their first full length CD. The summer of 2005 brought Two Liner to Master Mind Studios in Hamilton Ont. After a long summer of recording the band couldn't find the funds to have the CD. After a year of trying to get the abulm some cash, the band decided to get a loan, record 3 more tracks and finally get the CD out their. December of 2006 was the release of Two Liner's first full length album "Turn Up The Good, Turn Down The Suck" and they are now looking to promote the CD through Ontario at various cities and venues.
