"One-on-one with Two or Three"

"And what has this resolve accomplished? The recording is, in short, sophisticated and accomplished".

"From Resolve’s first second “The Bees” explode in a swarm of sound and rhythm that is both arresting and engrossing. Andrew and Catherine’s vocals swirl in a measured disunity that leads to a frenetic bridge. The virtuosity of Fraser Field, Two or Three’s piano man, shimmers". - Mars' Hill Newspaper

Two or Three is a band from Vancouver BC. Andrew Harback, a songwriter originally from Calgary AB, assembled the group and wrote the music they would go on to record, release, and play live. Influenced by artists such as Ben Howard and John Butler, Two or Three's songs rely on complex finger-style guitar and piano chemistry mixed with paired vocals that seem to explore and play off of each other as they happen. All of this along with driving bass and percussion is moulded into accessible, marketable folk-rock songs that inspire thought and passion.

Heading into the recording process of their debut EP "Resolve", Two or Three lost the fathers of two members as well as the best friend of another. With only a couple days for some of the members to practice after taking care of their separate arrangements, they entered Fader Mountain Sound in Vancouver soon after. What happened there in the studio working with Paul Boechler was something out of a dream, pulling them away from grief into a place where time was not against them and they had the freedom to honor their friends and family by using their passions and talents.

"Resolve" is the culmination of their experience. A record set apart by the pain it took to get them there, from a band set apart by the determination they have to press on. With new material already written, and more in the works, Two or Three has already been impressing crowds playing along side the likes of Mike Edel. With plans of hitting the road for a tour in June, Two or Three is on a mission to share their music as far as they can, in hopes that it will resonate or carry meaning for more and more people.
