TWO PEACE

TWO PEACE is a reggae/rap/electronic group that is drawing more and more attention everyday. This duo hales from Davenport, Iowa and perform memorable, original songs that will stick in your brain.

Their debut cd “This is How We Roll” is as good as anything on the market today, and appeals to many demographics. In fact, it is hard to find anyone who would say that these guys aren't awesome, no matter what their musical tastes are. This band is definitely on a roll with a growing fan base.

We truly believe that the sky is the limit for TWO PEACE! They are destined to join the class of the musical elite worldwide. All you have to do is listen to their songs, and you will become a believer too!

Recent gigs include: headlining two times at Rozz Tox in Rock Island, Illinois (including New Years Eve), Opening for Rude Punch twice at Mound Street Landing in Davenport, Iowa and RIBCO, Rock Island on February 9, 2012, as well as, numerous private parties in Iowa City.

Nick Harksen is the lead vocalist, keyboard player. His solo career includes shows in Chicago at such venues as The Elbo Room and Hotti Biscotti, as well as, the performance hall at River Music Experience in Davenport, Iowa. Nick's versatility as a songwriter and composer gives TWO PEACE their diverse sound and provides the group with the ability to create music that blends several different genres.

Jacob Hahn is the musically obsessed bass guitar player who contributes background vocals, and writes lyrics. Jacob lays down the bass lines that perfectly compliment Nick's electronic beats and melodies.

TWO PEACE formed as a group in 2011 with a fascinating list of musical influences including Bob Marley, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime and STS9. Jacob says “I saw Nick at a solo show and thought, yeah, I really wanna work with that guy.” The two became friends and Nick says “We went to an STS9 show together and walked out of their knowing that we were going to do this.” 2 Peace describes their music as “based on how we live, how our friends are, what we believe in, just trying to speak to people in general...the truth is we're just normal dudes trying to spread the truth, and good vibes.”
