Bio

Two Stripe bust on the scene late 2009 with the vision of bringing a fresh and different sound to Scotlands music scene. The band hail from the City of Stirling and are heavily influenced by the sights of indie rock n roll with dance thrown in to the mix to create a sound that makes everyone want to dance. Their strong melodies and toe tapping rhythms are the main theory behind the music. Their influences are the local music around them, the catchiness of the hardcore dance genre and the grittyness and down to earth lyrics of indie bands Two Stripe have now played there first round of gigs and have won an army of fans around the country, playing sold out venues including King Tuts Wha Wha Hut, Cabaret Voltaire and The Fubar to name a few. Amongst these Two Stripe have also being invited to play many gigs supporting bands such as Two Door Cinema Club, Twisted Wheel, The Paddingtons, Joe Carnell and the book Club, Cosmo Jarvis, The Law, The Dykeenies and Chris Helme.

Since Two Stripe formed they have featured on a number of radio shows, podcasts and newspapers, receiving great reviews and some nice words from some big hitters in the music industry.
