Bio

TyBless was born in the heart of NYC, and was raised in Spanish Harlem, pre-gentrification and raised in the Lexington Housing Projects. TyBless is a producer, a recording artist, writer and also your occasional Hype-man/Human Beat Box. After a performance opening for Maino, he told TyBless... "You you really went in, you killed that!* TyBless has been in the music business for 10 years. TyBless is in the process of launching his own movement & genre, CLUB-HOP, due to the fact that he's been known to be too raw to be just dance music and it's too danceable to be accepted as hard core Hip-Hop, despite the fact that he can rhyme with as much or more intensity as the next rap artist. Feeling like an outcast he along with artist he's developing came up with CLUB-HOP, and voila, a new genre was born!

TyBless released his latest album/mixtape, *ROCK DA PARTY* in the spring of 2010. The intro track TyBless gives a jolt to Hip Hop's naysayers by saying.... "Nas said its dead. I'm a tribute to that... The fact that it's alive is all in my rap*. Rock Da Party is currently available on I-Tunes and is receiving critical acclaim for its hit singles, "The Jump Off", and new single/ video "Freakin' it. "The Jump Off", released in 2009 brought TyBless plenty of attention as he was honored as iheartradio.com's artist of the month. This honor had TyBless featured the entire month of August 2009 on 750 Clear Channel Radio websites. "The Jump Off" also received rotation on the Rock Channel 50 on XM radio where it was featured as a cross over hit on that station's count down. TyBless current single, "Freakin' It" is making even more waves as it has won an award for Hip Hop Video of the Year at the World Music Independent Film Festival (WMIFF), it was also featured as WMIFF's magazine as the Video of the Month. "Freakin It” was also featured as the Song of the week on industry website, media2radio.com.

TyBless appears in the movie DIARY OF A TIRED BLACKMAN starring Jimmy Jean Louis, which was released on DVD Feb. 3rd, 2009. Diary of a Tired Blackman, directed by Tim Alexander is now also being featured on Showtime, as well as the Movie Channel. TyBless has done commercials for TOYOTA and FOOTLOCKER, did a promo spot for the In Store Sports Network on behalf of BET for the BET Awards. Not to mention his involvement as an extra in numerous commercials, including Absolute Vodka.
TyBless has performed at the BEATSTOCK concert series in New York City, Jones Beach, and the PNC Arts Center in New Jersey from 2001-2010. He has opened for Fat Joe during the Florida leg of his tour. TyBless also toured with R.Kelly & Salt n' Pepper, Escape, and Domino back in 94'.
TyBless also toured with Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees) in Germany and Switzerland, 94-95'. His first big show experience was on the Arsenio Hall show, Soul Train, as well as Video LP and Video Soul. TyBless has worked, and is still working with producers; Henri Charlemange (who's worked with, Jay-Z, R.Kelly, Black Rob, Mary J.Blige), Topp Notch (Cassidy, Jim Jones, Dipset), Joe Bells of Puerto Rico (formerly of Luni Tunes), Carlos *After Dark* Berrios, and Jimmie Fingaz of Vintage Beats (Serius Jones). In the future there are other major projects that TyBless along with his team of producers are developing titled, "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE" and the sequel to "Rock Da Party", tenatively titled "RDP2".
