T.Y. Gauna

My name is Ty Gauna, born in Ford Heights IL which is a lower class town in which poverty is very rapid. At an early age I was influenced not by hip hop but by 70's and 80 soul acts such as Gladys Knight, The Rascals, and so many more. My love for hip hop in general didn't come along until i was around the age of 13 when I began listening to this music seriously and writing raps. As a child growing up I didn't have many friends so music was my way of gaining those friends I didn't have you can say that I am a loner just trying to find his place in the world, and I gain many supporters throughout my life in junction with this music. What sets me apart from most artist in my genre is that I am not scared to show the world who I really am
