Ty Harriz

Ty Harriz, born Tyree Lamar Harris, is a regional recording artist based in the Raleigh, North Carolina market. Beginning his journey as an artist in 2006, Ty Harriz has released over ten mixtapes in less than 10 years. From his first mixtape entitled Young & Hungry released in 2006 to his most recent release Message on a Dollar in 2013, Ty Harriz has developed a unique perspective on his songwriting, production, and delivery. Known for his lyricism, and creative form, Ty Harriz has gained recognition from both his fellow musicians, as well as industry professionals. 

Ty Harriz, who clarifies his sound, as more hip hop than rap; has had the opportunity to perform at countless shows including local based showcases, and regional concerts series. In 2010, Ty Harriz became the staple of the Raleigh based concert Not Yet Famous that continues to occur annually due to his diligence in striving for excellence in his field. The Not Yet Famous Concert routinely asked for his participation each year. The first year of that event in 2010 ultimately landed Ty Harriz with an exclusive management deal with the organizing agency of Not Yet Famous, Terrenzo Management, LLC.

Distinctly different from the countless independent urban artists, Ty Harriz has seen the opportunities for major notoriety with his most recent audition with Atlantic Records consultant, Serge Durand. Through his dedication, Ty aspires to bring the lyrical content back to the listener while being successful in his field.

As Ty continues to pursue his dreams, with the motivation of his daughters future and his personal goals, success appears imminent for this rising superstar. Ty Harriz has recently returned to the studio after the release of Message on a Dollar to prepare for his latest effort entitled "Last To Stand, First To Rise" which is scheduled for release in the last quarter of 2017
