TYLER consists of front man Lukas Hillebrand, bassist Peter Schönbauer and drummer Alexander Pohn.
Estimated sometime around the beginning of this millennium.
At scratch it was just a couple of friends coming together to rehearse and try out. But soon they liked their stuff so much they did not wanr to keep it from the public.
In late 2003 they got to know the Viennese independent label „Freiraum für Musik“ which lead to TYLER’s first release in April 2005 – their debut album „DON’T PLAY“. The singles „HELLO“, „WHAT’S WRONG“, „SEPERATED“, and „BEAUTIFUL“ reached powerplay on several Austrian and foreign radio stations.
Also the videos for „WHAT’S WRONG“, „SEPERATED“ and „BEAUTIFUL“ where featured on the Austrian music channel GoTV and MTV.
They toured all over Austria and were able to take advantage of the situation in order to gather a very good reputation. Which lead to supporting the SIMPLE MINDS and CHRISTINA STÜRMER (Platinum status Austrian artist).
After a little creative break, some changes within the set up and gaining energy they started working on their follow up record which is already finished. Now their hungry fort he stage again.
