Tyler Keller Band

Tyler Keller Band

 Chicago, Illinois, USA

Tyler Keller Band = Positive Energy. The band's unique personalities, instrumental skills, and passion for music make this quartet a unique Chicago rock band with serious staying power. With different backgrounds and styles, the band is exciting to see perform, especially if you dig improvisation.

Tyler Keller, Marty Kollmorgen, Bobby Loesch, and John Trendell, believe it or not, all met in elementary school in Naperville, IL. The band members were always passionate about music, but they never really played together growing up (although John and Bobby were in a band together in high school). After pursuing different endeavors, attending different colleges, and seeking different careers, their paths crossed again after college after Tyler initiated their first 'jam session.'

The band has been playing together since December of 2009, and they are really starting to define their sound as a rock band fueled by edgy drum beats, deep acoustics, heart-felt lyrics, and a passion for improvisation.

At this point the band is looking for some exposure and has been playing at venues in Chicago such as Martyr's, The Bird's Nest, Ace Bar, and The Elbo Room.

This Electronic Press Kit has a few acoustic songs recorded alone by Tyler, and also some rough recordings from the frequent band practices TKB has.

The band has plans to record their studio album in winter of 2011.
