Biography
Born in Mobile, Alabama, Tyler's music is well rooted in Southern Americana. Growing up listening to his uncle play guitar and sing on the porch deck of a beach house, Tyler's inspiration came at an early age. Tyler attended the Florida State University, where he became refreshingly dependent on his fan base. Paying his dues and performing in bars for eight years before recording his first album, Whiskey Down (February, 2008), he has tailored his music to the live venue.
His performances are soulful and energetic. Tyler's blend of Texas-style, raw country and Americana finds audiences that wait with open arms and raised glasses.
Lyrics
Austin
Written By: Tyler Reeve
feels like i'm fallin
barely holdin on
don't know where i'm goin
or if i'm goin at all
tired on these feet
from runnin all the time
you can't mistake living
for barely holdin on
so maybe you can make your way to austin
i could sure use your company
and baby be someone to hold onto my hand
and someone like you to love me
phone calls and whiskey
can't get me to you
nowadays they don't
even help me make it through
so maybe you can make your way to austin
i could sure use your company
and baby be someone to hold onto my hand
and someone like you to love me
late night call from houston
she ain't doin to well
she's been puttin on a smile
but she's been goin through hell
so maybe i can make my way to houston
is there anything else that i can do
and maybe be someone to hold onto your hand
and someone like me to love you
yeah maybe i can make my way to houston
is there anything else that i can do
and maybe be someone to hold onto your hand
and someone like me to love you
