Lyrics

Wasn't Ready

Written By: Carlos Hicks, Dante Mackell, Tony Sims, Anoushka Koster

Verse 1:
Boy you know when we were so young
You didn’t know how to love
You didn’t know how to be romantic
You didn’t know what it was
But now that you know how it feels
Especially when it’s real
Well you took your time, you risked my love
Now I’m all you think’ off

Hook:
You wasn’t ready, wasn’t ready, wasn’t ready (you didn’t wanna be my man)
Walking and holding hands (I just wanted to hold your hand )
But now you’re ready, now you’re ready, now you’re ready (all that I wanted from you...)
To be my man (was to be my man, be my man, you knew)

That I’ve been ready, I’ve been ready, I’ve been ready (now you wanna settle down)
To let you in my world (all the sudden you want me right now)
Now that you’re ready, I’m not ready, I’m not ready (now you wanna have my child...)
To be your girl (and for me to be the girl, be the girl, for you)

Verse II:
So we’re both grown-up now
And I’ll be seeing you around my town
Reminiscin’ on what we had
And how to get it back some-how
You still remember how I use to feel
Back in the day, you didn’t think it was real
All I wanted was for you to be mine
But that was then at the time... when

Hook: 2x’s

INSTRUMENTAL

Now that you’re ready, I’m not ready, I’m not ready
Now that you’re ready, I’m not ready, I’m not ready

Hook 2 x with adlibs *

* ADLIBS:
Oh, you wasn’t ready
You didn’t wanna hold my hand
But now you’re ready
You’re ready to be my man

Well, I’ve been waiting all along
Yeah, you want me right now
But I’m not ready
I no longer wanna be your girl

Shake Ya Bambooga

Written By: Tony O. Sims, Sandra Small

1st Verse –
We’re spreadin’ laughter across the world
To every man woman boy and girl
Promotin’ peace to everyone
The time is now put down your guns
We’re hoping for a brighter day
Where we can all live in harmony
Bambooga is the game we play
So everybody sing-a-long with me

Chorus –
Bambooga, It’s sticky fun
Fun for everyone
If you feel it in your soul
Let your hair down and lose control

Everybodies doin’ it, It’s sticky fun
Fun for everyone
Everybody grab a hand
We’re spreading peace all across the land

2nd Verse –

Bridge – 2x’s
Shake It, Shake It, Shake It, Shake It
Shake It, Shake It, Shake Your Bambooga

Chorus –
Bambooga, It’s sticky fun
