But after years of playing in numerous bands around the Kansas City scene like Pomeroy, 90 Minutes, Disco Dick & The Mirrorballs, Simplexity, and many more, it was time for Leslie to finally release his first solo album that had been 20 years in the making.

The album "Train Wrecks, Havoc & Heartbreak" was written and produced solely by Leslie and aside from the drum tracks (provided by KC drumming legend Go-Go Ray), some amazing guitar solos, and some very special guest backing vocal spots, the record was recorded and performed by Leslie as well.

All rhythm and bass guitars, keyboards, and vocals were performed by Leslie.

Additional appearances include:

Backup vocals:

Melissa Bollman (Switch)
Curtis Anderson (Disco Dick & The Mirrorballs/Baloney Ponyz)

Selective Amnesia

Selective Amnesia

Hey what ya heard
What ya heard about that?
You’ve come a long way and that ain’t so bad
You breathe a little and you take it all in
Back to the starting line
Let’s do it all again

So what’cha care about the things that they say
I’m only human I don’t care anyway
It might be easy to forget what you’ve seen
But you ain’t never gon’ forget about me
No you ain’ never gon’ forget about me

You wake up early
And I’m the one you think of
You go to bed and I’m still on your mind
It’s just a habit
That I don’t wanna break up
Just takes a little bit o’ time to unwind

So what’cha care about the crap that you’ve heard
I didn’t say that so you can’t be so sure
It might be easy to forget what you’ve seen
But you ain’t never gon’ forget about me
No you ain’t never gon’ forget about me

And it all reminds you
Even when I’m not around
But I’ll come to find you
When you wanna get down GO!

So what’cha care about the shit you think you know
If ya didn’t want it girl you didn’t have to go
You can try to be the girl you wanna be………………………(pause)
But you ain’t never gon’ forget about me
No you ain’t never gon’ forget about me
No you ain’t never gon’ forget about me
you ain’t never gon’ forget about me
