Tyto Kings

Tyto Kings are an original acoustic duo from Perth Western Australia. They are two friends who have been playing guitar together since the ripe old age of 13. Growing up with strong influences from the heavy/alternative scene, they have successfully managed to write acoustic music with not only a unique sound but that is lyrically unique. After releasing their debut 5 song EP in Northbridge last year to a sold out crowd, they realised that their hobby may have evolved into something more.

Tyto Kings have since been performing steadily throughout Western Australia and have recently received some international recognition with one of their live online videos reaching over 100,000 views. They are currently finishing the writing process for a new EP and should begin the recording process in the early months of 2014.

With their fan base steadily growing, Tyto Kings have begun to grow as well. Although keeping their smaller shows more personal with just their acoustic guitars, a shaker and a tambourine, they have since started playing their larger shows with the incorporation of a drummer and a keyboardist.

Tyto Kings are an amazing up-and-coming duo. Two best friends who have grown together and evolved musically together. Bringing both an individual sound and an amazingly comfortable stage presence, they are not to be missed.
