Go Large Records interest peeks with Tyton N Solja D

For Immediate Release – February, 2009 – New York, New York –Go Large Records announced that Tyton N Solja D are wanted for their hit ‘Catch Me’.

Having played literally every venue in Atlanta and surrounding metro, Tyton N Solja D are in high demand with an all ages crowd. They can’t pump out enough CD’s to meet their demand of hungry fans.

“We believe by looking at our local crowd and how people are amazed at the conclusion to our performances that there is a crowd out there looking for a group like us. We see it everyday and thought the same way ourselves before beginning this process. We spit the fire that teenage boys and girls are doing everyday and just don’t have anyone like us to tell it. In our city they are killing us for copies”, Solja D said.

Having been told their song, ‘Go Shawty’ is a hit; Go Large Records has specifically picked them up for ‘Catch Me’, a surefire hit. With airplay slated in Los Angeles and Orlando later this week, Go Large Records backs both songs.

‘Talented across the board,” Cali Sky, Senior Business Developer said. “We at Go Large Records feel these guys can take it to the next level on not only the East Coast but World Wide. We are considering them for a cross country tour of colleges and all ages shows and we expect them to be picked up fairly quickly.”

Bio

Tyton-N-Solja D consists of 2 urban rappers that show you the hip hop scene on a whole new level.
With Tyton previously working under several different indie labels and Solja D keeping his business skills focused, this group kind of fell together. The two of them were both living struggling lives until meeting one christmas eve to discover they were old school mates and that day began the process. With Lee Johnson aka Tyton from Metro Atlanta and David Lyles aka Solja D from Louisiana , the two unite to bring this ultimate nightmare into the rap game. The strongest of commitment and heart gives these two the faith to not give up.

The group has done features for other artists seperately but acts as a whole. They have played way too many venues in Atlanta to name and a few others in the southeast making them ready to take this to the next step. The past couple of years have brought these two together as nearly brothers, not only dealing with the stress of trying to make something out of their music but dealing with the stresses of life together to make sure each knows whats going on with the other, in order to stay accomplished. Each writes their own verses. Choruses are made when one of the two comes in one day with a new idea. The production is made of several producers the group uses, which are chosen when the right one has the right mix for their project. This is totally a change from the groups past that consisted of drug dealing as well as using, countless county programs to complete for crimes and major prison time in the mix for Solja D.

The style they use to dominate is one that hasn't been seen since Outkast was killing the charts and can further more be seen back around the hottest days of Eightball & MJG. Two brains are better than one says Solja D, we can put out twice as much work as a one man band and generate twice the funds. The group prefers to make music high schoolers can bob their heads to in the city or that can be played in the clubs without causing a riot. Seeing these two live is a sight once you see the two innocent looking faces step out on stage and just completely transform into something you really wouldn't expect from them. They really make you feel the topics in their songs.

Day after day goes on and these two are still brain storming on a way to make it in this flooded industry and be given a chance to prove themselves. They've dealt with fakes and managed to weed them out but now its time to take action. The group is sinking every last penny the have to try and land a deal. They've played all the hottest venues, they've won the toughest showcases(competitions) and now its time in 0--9 to let em shine!!!
