Udayakiran is born blind, "who sees the world through his music" as quoted by a leading indian Newspaper. He has Bachelor's degree in Arts (Distinction), Masters in Music (I rank,Gold medal) and Doctorate in Music from University of Mysore.
He has also passed professional Music exams Junior grade in Vocal and Violin, Senior Grade in Vocal and Violin, Vidwath in Vocal and Violin with high distinctions .
A NET (National Eligibility Test )certified from UGC (University Grants Commision) India.
