Bio

When you combine his unique playing style with the current line-up, featuring some of Toowoomba's and region's finest musicians, you get the blues band from hell. Graham describes this as the most exciting combination of musicians he has worked with.

They play Chicago and Texas style blues. Front man, “Ugly Graham” has 26 years of playing experience and rated in the top echelon of blues harp players worldwide by his US counterparts.
Has played shows with Mick Diggles, Jimi Beavis and Transvaal Diamond Syndicate. Graham played with Mike Beale as well as with Kevin Borich's at 2012 Blues on Broadbeach. Achieved runner up in BASEQ Blues Performer of the year competition in 2008. Has had major festival appearances at Maleny Folk Festival as well as the now Woodford Festival Playing Harp for other artists.

Guitarist Dale Robbins, is highly acclaimed. In 2011 was invited to play at Buddy Guy’s Legends Bar, Chicago for two weeks. Also played alongside Louie Shelton and Kirk Lorange at the 2011 Guitar Men Show, Gold Coast.

Bob Adams, Bass, has been the band’s bass man for around fifteen years. He provides the band with the driving style that gives the band a tight backline.

Dave Rowlands, on drums, started back in the early 60s. His original band, Phil Jones and the Unknown Blues played Byron Bluesfest in 2011. Has sat in with Doug Ford of Masters Apprentices, Mick Diggles, Andrew Baxter and Wil Scarlet. Dave was also invited to jam with Kevin Borich at 2012 Blues on Broadbeach.

Most recent shows this year for band are The Press Club Brisbane and Royal Mail Goodna.

Next show is Mansfield Tavern on Bill with Nathan Cavaleri on 19th August..

Band also runs a very well supported Regular Blues Session in home town of Toowoomba..
