'UGS' (UnderrGrounddSquadd) started back in 2008 as just a group of friends who would always be together and over the years it became a family. St.Christopher founded 'VOE' (VintageOverEverything), which is our clothing movement based off of Vintage clothing but has other clothing entities attached with it . 'UGS' is made up of 14 members. 'UgsLife' is our music Alias made up of a total of 5 members. 'UgsLife' also represents the lifestyle we live and the movements we have, 'VOE' & 'YNWD'. 'YNWD' stands for 'Young 'N With Dreams' because we are Young and With Dreams. The 3 Main music makers right now are St.Christopher, Spiffy, & JT. JT was recently added to the group through our journey chasing this music dream, he is the groups producer & our brother now. We also have other artist in our group that will become more relevant in due time.
We started making music this past summer in June 2012 and have progressed rapidly. Our music is greatly influenced by Houston being that we're from Austin,Tx and Houston music covers all of Texas. St. Chris's musical influence comes from Big Moe, Sade & Drake. The person that most influences Spiffy is Juvenile & the whole hot boy movement. JT said his greatest influential figure is the producer named Y2JJ from the group called "PickYaPoison".
The thing that sets us apart from other groups is the fact that we are very young and are more versatile then any group in our age range. We are very hard working and are willing to meet new people and understand the whole concept of 'NetWorking'. If you sit down with us and actually have a conversation with the head people, you will be sold and you will understand the ambitions that we have.
