UllNevaNo (You’ll Never Know)
Having already been named one of the top unsigned artists on a Revolt Radio Podcast, and winning Speaker Boxin 3 Freestyle Battle, this battle veteran is leaving his mark in Baltimore in a big way. He has performed in the Baltimore underground circuit for a solid two years, including such locations as Sonar, Bedrock, Brass Monkey, Ottobar, 5 Seasons, The Black Hole, Moon Light Café, Edens Lounge, and Penguins. He’s also had the opportunity to open for such acts as BLU and Exile, Skillz, Xecutioners, Black Milk, Elzhi, Royce da 5’9’, and Guilty Simpson.
UllNevaNo lived the life of a military brat in southern California for 11 years, before returning to his hometown, Baltimore. As an active, and respected, battle MC, he constantly ciphers and freestyles on stage, captivating and energizing any crowd he steps in front of. He cites Big L from Harlem, New York as one of his biggest hip hop influences. He credits Big L with motivating him to take music more seriously. Canibus, Jean Grae, BLU, Dilated Peoples, Vast Aire, Elzhi, and MF Doom, among others, are important influences as well.
With 12 years of rhyming, and 7 years of battle rapping under his belt, UllNevaNo is using his skills to branch out into even more industry projects. While promoting the Los Angeles based record lable “Stones Throw,” he is also currently working with “Action Figures” emcees J-Berd, 1 Ton, and producers Minus Nine and Knowledge to create the album “Fresh Out the Box.” He is also working on the album “Y=MC+P” a collaboration project with Knowledge, as emcee/producer, for a group called “The Equation.” The album is available for download on numerous hip hop blogspots. He’s also collaborated with other producers such as Nick the 1da, Tislam the Great, Heroes 4 Hire, Tom Delay, and T-Moss popular DMV producers.
