Though young in years, UltraSound speaks with vibrant depth. While surfing the web of Montreal venues (from Bar Fly to Kola Note), UltraSound has shared the stage with local harmonic enchanters while building a neighbourhood of believers. Riding the wave of overwhelmingly positive fan response (e.g. the multitude undergarments which get thrown on stage) UltraSound was driven to carry the fluidity of live-performance into the studio where they are presently working on their EP ‘Made in China’.
UltraSound recently participated in a CKUT special in which Montreal bands promoted fellow local performers. Music, after all, is not an individual pursuit, but something realized by a community. It is events like Pop Montreal that make these ideals into reality, turning ripples into waves.
