Umano Ache: is born in the border between Mexico and USA; in our days, the need to making music in between of bullets and drugwar became part of our counter culture, the art of fusing latin rithms and local cumbia with rock, funk, hip hop, jazz and pure gozadera sounds... people cant stop dancing when the Aché is playing, its a beautiful energy of dance, sweat and drumbeats. We are strongly influenced bye the Salsa scene in the 70's, Fania All Stars, Willie Colón, Rubén Blades and many more, also we are constantly influenciated by other contemporary bands who also fuse latin with somethng else.
The tumbáo base lines made by Barney with his unique style blend with Fermin's guitar riffs in a perfect way so that Mike, Carlos and Arturo put the rithm all together building an amazing whole atmosphere where J.C. Cruz just takes it to another lever with his "pregónes" and rapping.

Since the band got together in 2009 the only rule is making music sound as wild as possible keeping it danceable, the Lyrics talk about stories that represent our border culture, the clash of two countries and it's tales from the street, their women, violence, but also love in all its forms, fiesta, friends and simply everyday life.
