4 Song Demo released December 2005 currently working in studio to complete a full length CD with 10 songs. The band will have a streaming video for the song WakeUP. Radio 91.5 WMIE, 89.3 (The GodSquad) WPIO, 90.3 WEJF covering cities in Florida: Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Palm Bay, Titusville, Vero Beach, Sebastian, Stuart, and Orlando, Iowa and Atlanta, Georgia.
The band has been chosen to showcase at Cornerstone festival In Orlando, and the song 3:16 was chosen to be on the Tune Tank NXNE compilation 2006 CD, the recent SXSE compilation CD Web site is getting over 10,000 hits a day for the 20 artist on the CD. Un4sakn will be recording pre production in Melbourne, we have picked Orlando, and Nashville, Tn as the primary recording, mixing, and mastering locations with Producer Kevin Smith who has worked with the producer of third Day. We are planning a Fall release of a 10 song EP.

Hailing from Melbourne Florida these four members backgrounds could not be more diverse. Lead Singer Jason Cordell was originally in a secular band regionally known as “Imedia” and Bass Player Willie Carrasco was in the band "M-pulse" Which was Courting Labels and a tour overseas. Then God’s call came, Willy was released from Impulse and soon after Jason committed his life to Jesus Christ and left his band. Almost one year to the date Jason meets Matt Godson who was a talented guitarist in a praise and worship band in his church. As God’s plan unfolded Jason ran into Willy and found out that he had been saved also and was interested in playing music to reach the youth in their beach community known as the "Space Coast". After a couple of drummers God sent Donnie Norton who also was searching for a way to play music for the Lord. So on March 15th, 2004 the band “Facedown” was formed. The local response was phenomenal which solidified the bands resolve that God had a plan for this ministry oriented music. Un-expectantly their music was cutting across both the Christian hard rock scene and the Secular hard rock scene due to their God based lyrics. The band has created a buzz in the local Christian Community of being able to reach secular youth of the area. Youth leaders from different venues report of new members to their youth group after each performance.
The band has been compared to the hard rock sounds of Pillar, 12 Stones, Kutless, Sound Garden, 3 Doors Down, Shinedown Trapt Root, and Alterbridge. Due to the name “Facedown” being trademarked by other entities the members chose the name “UN4sakn” because each member having experienced very dark times in their lives and with the grace of God, finding their savior, realized that all those who have accepted Christ are truly un-forsaken.
Our mission is to reach young and old with the message of Christ with relevant, edgy, hard rocking music which is the language of this generation.
