Hotpress Pick Of the Fortnight - March 22nd 2006
Una Healy's new CD shows the benefit of her attendance at IMRO workshops. She has developed a fey voice that can express real emotion and when she adds harmony and a hint of strings to 'I Love You', you get a song almost disarming in this sweet simplicity. 'Sorry' is equally wistful and downbeat. 'So Long' is a total contrast, all big guitars and thundering drums. It gets better when it settles down and Healy's sweet voice takes over. Healy sure knows how to deliver a pop song right on the button!
