UnbrokeN is very passionate about playing and singing Christian Rock music. They stand everyday for Jesus Christ, pushing toward their dream to be able to reach lost souls, change, and touch lives worldwide. These are a few statements that have been made about the band UnbrokeN, originating from Springdale, Arkansas. You see entertainment is not just what their ministry is about, but affecting their world for Jesus Christ. Many know to have a ministry it takes sacrifice, and the will to carry on even when things just aren’t going the way they should. UnbrokeN has already begun their ministry, and they know about making sacrifices. They have stood strong, and are willing to do whatever it takes to see that Jesus Christ is known to those that don’t know him. They aren’t just another Christian band, but a band with passion, and a unique sound. Their words will cut through the deepest strongholds, and will “break the chains that bind you”, as their first song Break the Chains says. You may ask why the name “UnbrokeN”, II Corinthians chapter 4 verses 8 and 9 says, “8: We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9: Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.” This is their meaning and they live for this never to be separated from Jesus Christ. “UnbrokeN will change the world”, a saying that Toby Freeman, and Josh Baker have said since the beginning. They vow to stay humble till the end, “We will never forget why we have this ministry”, says Jordan Sutherlan. During the course of 2007 UnbrokeN was in the studio recording their first album called P.D.A (Public Display of Affection), and pushing promotion to spread the word. “This is our year and we cannot wait to see what God has in store for us”, says Eric Freeman.
