"Uncle Sam - Live Free or Die"

YSHT is proud to bring you a quality mixtape from another up-and-coming MC that you may not have heard of yet. Uncle Sam released his Live Free Or Die back in October, but be sure to listen below. He comes hard right from the start on his mixtape with "Heavy Metal Rap," and stays strong through the end. Check out Live Free Or Die below and let us know what you think. - You Should Hear This

"Single You Out- Live For Today"

I posted a freestyle by Uncle Sam not all that long ago. The freestyle was good, but this single is excellent. We have original production from his partner, Pastime, who in my opinion put together a dope beat. I really like the (1,2,3 vocal sample). That was very well placed. Uncle Sam delivers top notch rhymes and he sounds more natural on this beat than the freestyle. He’s going to be dropping a mixtape that we will be checking for. - Hip Hop Dependency

"Single You Out - The Learning"

Uncle Sam hit me up a week or so ago with this cut of him flipping on this Havoc instrumental. I typically do not like posting emcees working over industry beats but I think he is pretty talented and wanted to share it with you all. Overall this is a good first impression. He has a nice flow and cadence. - Hip Hop Dependency

"Feedback Friday - Summer Daze"

Production is excellent! The call and response harmony gives the song fullness and character. Sharp hook. The energy of the song keeps the listener engaged and in constant motion. Great song. Keep building your movement. Keep sharpening your lyrical content and overall delivery. - Salute Music

Bio

My music explores the present-day American experience through the eyes of the "Millenials", as we're being called. Does the American Dream still exist? Did it ever? Our generation is facing new & unique challenges in an ever-shrinking world. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered. I try to address the ones I can, while providing music that 20-somethings in this country can relate to.
