Bio

History:
The second act from SupersonicUSA, Uncle Tone’s album is a wild ride of hodge podge music and skits. The lead single, “Who Farted” is a rap written in the style of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince’s Parent’s Just Don’t Understand,” or Biz Markie’s “You Say I’m Just a Friend,” or Sugar Hill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight.” A light-hearted comedy rap for the kids. No profanity in the rap.

Uncle Tone (aka Tony Reynolds) was known in the mid 1980’s as a serious musician. Recording out of the same studios as soul groups like Midnight Star and the Deele (featuring LA Reid and Babyface), Reynolds had a regional hit record at that time.

After leaving the business and graduating from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Journalism/Public Relations, Reynolds co-founded a record label and obtained distribution via Ichiban Records. Billboard Magazine recognized Reynolds for his innovation of putting acts on the Internet. Reynolds then built a successful Internet company that created web sites for movies, events, entertainers, which led him back to the music business.

Last Summer Uncle Tone’s sons’ surprised him by remembering a 12-year-old rap he had written that was laying around the office. To give them a lesson about recording, he took his 10-year-old nephew in the studio and re-did the rap. After it was done, he sent it to Dr. Demento and he not only played it, but loved it. It had enough requests to hit #4 on Dr. Demento’s chart. It has since been requested and/or aired on large market radio stations including: KKRZ Z100 Portland The Chet Buchanan Show, WIYY Baltimore Kirk, Mark and Lopez, KLOS Los Angeles, Mark and Brian, KRAJ Southern California BC Corbin.

They started the One Spin to Break the Wind of a Guinness World Record Campaign. They are attempting to take the Guinness World Record for the Longest Album Title from Fiona Apple. This campaign was picked up by Wireless NewsFlash, Radio and Records and other news outlets.
