Some claim to hear hints of this group's Sao Paolo origins amid the thrashing prog-rockery. Me, not so much. But there's more than connections to the likes of Cynic and Intronaut in the Brooklyn quintet's double-guitar plasticity, polyrhythm-method drumming, and stop-it-you'll-hurt-your-throat vocals. - The Village Voice

Bio

UNCONSCIOUS DISTURBANCE (U.D.) is a Brazilian/American rock band formed in Brooklyn, NY and is comprised of brothers Daniel and Kiko Freiberg (São Paulo), Tim Haggerty (Boston), and Danny Dahan (Washington DC). After two years of relentless writing, along with local and international touring, U.D. will make their second release on September 1, 2016, entitled Let it Rain.  For fans of Muse, Royal Blood and The Mars Volta, Let it Rain brings a reinvented and more concise sound in comparison to the band's first album Shooting at the Moon (2014), and will be backed up by a 40-date USA tour in September and October.

Between their first release and now, U.D. has played over 100 shows in over 15 US states, Canada, and Brazil. The band recently returned from Brazil after being re-invited to play the country's largest independent rock festival, "Palco do Rock" in Salvador, Bahia - this time as headliners. U.D. has also played significant festivals in Brazil such as Porão do Rock with Muse and Suicidal Tendencies, and was officially nominated as one of five of Brazil's upcoming rock bands by Monsters of Rock Festival.

U.D. has received critical praise by Red Bull Music, AOL Noisecreep, and was selected by New York's "The Village Voice" as a "must see" show.
