Underground Activity is another term for the word revolution and it was chosen to describe the sound and mission of this punk rock, power-pop band hailing from Long Island, New York. At the heart of this high-energy group are the double barreled vocals of Steve and Joann Davi.
Steve, has the gifts of songwriting and vocals that bring across a relevant message. His ability to make infectious melodies is unlike anyone else. His voice is driving and impacting, whether delivering a powerful melody or throat-ripping scream, it draws you in.
Joann has sung with everyone and every type of music. She has found her voice performing this music, as well as co-writing lyrics on some of the songs. Joann’s voice is beautiful and sweet mixed heavily with a soulful richness, creating a truly unique pop-punk/ power-pop vocal style. It is a voice that reaches in and connects with raw emotions.
They are joined by their turbo-charged live band: Mike Alvarez on guitar; Kyle Bullock on bass; Kurt Bullock on guitar and Keith Bullock on drums.
This music taps into your soul. The message of acceptance and belonging is conveyed through the inventiveness, honesty and incredibly melodic hooks in their high-energy rock songs.
