Shawn Chaisson is a bit young, a bit inexperienced, and modest to a fault - but his unmistakeable voice will make absolute certain that Underleaf is a name you don't soon forget. Although only in the infancy of his carrer, Underleaf has made a habit of leaving crowds speechless with his charming brand of grungy folk songs that often cross the line into anthem territory.

A first time listener might draw comparisons to Dallas Green or Greg McPherson - but give Underleaf a song or two and you'll find that he's got the punky bite and lyrical introspection of the latter and only the clean tone and range of the former.

Underleaf is currently recording his debut EP which will undoubtedly take music fans on The Canadian East by surprise while establishing him among the East Coast's solid touring acts.
