"EP Review!"

'Let Go' of any preconceptions you may have. If you grew up enjoying Zeppelin, Sabbath and T-Rex in the early 70's, you'll love this debut EP. If you were born a few years later and spent your teenage years listening to Blondie, the Police, or early Punk Rock, you're gonna love this EP.

Catchy songs with great riffs and lyrics that will stick in your head for days, Undiscovered Soul have hit upon a stunning way to show how Rock music can be relevant today.

So to review the 5 songs:

2 have great punk/rock riffs and vocals.(slightly more Rock!) 1 has a chorus you will be singing for days after the first hearing, and obviously you have the obligatory Ballad, which, in my very humble opinion, is the best song out the five. This eponymous track brings everything together. Beautiful vocals. Quiet, subtle guitar work and lyrics that make you sing along and more importantly THINK. A gorgeous ballad with all the right Rock credentials.

Overall, a stunning debut release from a band that will obviously not be Undiscovered for long.

1: Everything You Are -

Rocking Riff. A fast paced, Blondie-esque song, just on the rock side of punk-rock.A very, VERY catchy chorus.

2: I'll Be There -

Bryan Adams would be a very happy bunny if he'd written this up-tempo rock love song. Great lyrics.

3: Let Go - The title track of the EP and the obligitory 'ballad'.

Maisie's voice sounds fantastic on this. Love the subtle guitar solo.

Turning into my favourite song so far ;-)

4: Won't Be Mine - Short n sweet Rock music with punk vocals. Another good riff.

5: Highway To Nowhere - Damn... I thought 'Everything You Are' was gonna be stuck in my head. Nope, it's this chorus! 'This is my highway to nowhere, I'm living my life like you told me to, and i'm on the highway to nowhere, the open roads my only friend it's true' ;-)

"Gig review from The Box, Crewe"

"I was fortunate enough to see Undiscovered Soul play live at The Box in Crewe on 28th May 2010. The fact that they are a relatively new band was not apparent at all - they performed coherently and consistently, demonstrating the skills and qualities you would expect to see from a much more experienced group of musicians.

They kicked off their evening with a tune brimming with energy and with a catchy riff. Throughout their set of rock/pop songs, they maintained the energy levels and the crowd responded positively to this. All of their songs showcased the talents of each member of the band, clearly illustrating how much practice and devotion has gone in to creating a new local band which is undoubtedly on the up.

Look out for these guys in the near future - they are definitely going places!

Bio

Formed in the early parts of 2010, Undiscovered Soul are on a mission to make their mark on the rock music scene. As a five piece band, all with their own influences, they have a very varied and exciting style. This is demonstrated superbly on their debut EP 'Let Go', with great melodic rock songs boasting ridicously catchy choruses such as "I'll be There" and 'Highway to Nowhere', to in-your-face, attention grabbing riff based tracks 'Everything You Are' and 'Won't be Mine' and, with the excellent title track, even a nice ballad that's guarenteed to tug at your heart-strings.

The fantastic vocals of Maisie, full of passion, can make you feel a wide range of emotions, whether its joy, hope, anger or despair. These blend seemlessley with Dave's lead and Pez's rythm guitars, which compliment each other perfectly and Tom's awesome bass lines; all the while Aaron's faultless drumming (the one-take wonder) takes the songs onto another level.

Undiscovered Soul are, without doubt, a band you will come to love. Whether you see them live on stage, or hear them through the headphones of your mp3 player, you can feel the energy and emotion that is going into each and every song. Make sure you
check these guys out, they'll make you want to dance, clap, scream and shout one moment, before moving you to tears the next.

If you want to watch a band who perform great music and have a great time doing it, then Undiscovered Soul
are the band for you.

This band is going places. Be a part of it.
