I’m pretty picky when it comes to rock music, sometimes bands make whiny crap other times their music is just too much rush or too much screaming but the worst is when it sounds like its been recorded in my bathroom but luckily for Undying Allegiance they don’t do any of this.
Undying Allegiance are a pop/rock band all the way from Wisconsin, United States and they were nice enough to send 3media a copy of their newly released full length album ‘Don’t Panic (we are not in control)’ featuring the rewritten ‘Story of our lives’ (formerly released on an EP of the same name) and with ought a doubt the track that shines the most ‘The Promise’.
Every song on the album could be described as an emotional ballad with the mood of the album seeming to swing with every song starting from the rush of the drums in ‘The Promise’ to a cool acoustic chill out at the end of the album with ‘I’m Coming home’.
Definitely the best thing about these guys is that they have substance, most bands these days electronically alter their voices and slap a happy hardcore slogan on their Myspace and apparently that makes them the next big thing of rock where as ‘Undying Allegiance’ has stuck to the basics with killer drums, awesome guitar playing and of course the great vocals which bring life to the music.
I would recommend this to anyone that’s sick of hearing the same old rock songs, something fresh that is hard to find in this time of rock - 3media.com.au

Undying Allegiance formed on a cold winter night in January 20** just outside Milwaukee Wisconsin on a date that not even the band now remembers. As high school students the band recorded a series of demos and finally an E.P. that was released in late 2007. Through the strange way things happen this little E.P. got in the hands of L.A/New York producer Tomas Costanza. By June 2008 UA was in a studio outside New York City recording their first full-length record titled Dont Panic, We are Not in Control. This CD was released January 10th 2009. That is the story for now. But we have only just begun.
