Bio

The Great Unknown.
The title of my debut album The Great Unknown is representative of the mystery of every day life. Even in the midst of routine we never know what lies ahead. The purpose of this album is to take the listener with me along this journey, to share the emotions that it has birthed in me and convey the lessons that I have learned throughout it.

I strive to maintain a clear message of life. No drug talk, no gun talk, no pointless vain rambling. Lyrical complexity is used to express messages of simplicity and truth. I have always, whether in conversation or rap belived if what I've got to say is not productive then its not worth saying. In spite of the mainstreams' fear of Christianity in music, my faith in Christ remains a vital element of what I do. Because my music is about real life, and Jesus is a more important part of my life than oxygen. The delivery is heartful and passionate. The message is clear. Christ.

I take inspiration from everywhere, but some of the key influences in the lyrical aspect of what I do include the Deepspace 5 emcees, Goodie Mob, Fugees, Talib Kweli, Pigeon John, etc...As far as beats and production are concerned I soak up everything. Much of what I strive to do with the music is create an experience reminescent of Pink Floyd who's music greatly inspires what I do with the production. That is not to exclude some of the hip hop producers which play into my motivation such as the great Premo (DJ Premier), Dust of Mars Ill, Havoc of Mobb Deep, Pras of Fugees, Hi-Tek, etc....
