From a young age, two brothers from a small suburb outside of Pittsburgh knew they wanted to entertain the masses with words. Words that took you back to a time when music was good, a time when you heard the music and it made you get up and move. Never concentrating solely on sex, drugs, violence and fast money. Even though growing up in the steel mill town of Aliquippa, Pa, they witnessed those things first hand. A tight knit family upbringing taught these brothers to stay focused, have a stellar work ethic and to always have each others back, they not only exemplify these values but they strive to exceed them everyday. Ernest Greer ,also known as, First Sun. So named because he is indeed his parents first son, so spelled, for the illumination his style brings to the stage. Anthony Greer, also known as, Snapdaillest. Let me break it down: Snap (mySupaNatural Attack is Potent) da illest; Enough said! Together they are UNI! (Infinite Shine Music) or Better Known As Tha UNIfied Brethren. Universal: applicable everywhere or in all cases Never Ignorant Getting’ Goals Accomplished Incorporated: to put or introduce into a body or mass as an integral part or parts UNI, the name itself gives u an idea of what you can expect as these brothers prepare to rock the microphone. With production from some of Western PA’s finest, the original rhymes overflowing on to the mind numbing beats are guaranteed to keep you hooked. UNI “First Sun” also has a hand in the production of a few tracks, so keep your eyes and especially your ears open for that “QUIP HOP” sound. UNI has appeared at the following local venues individually as well as with other local talent: "Fat Cats" formerly known as "Whiskey Dicks" , Pittsburgh, PA "The Wherehouse",Pittsburgh, PA Lacy's in Aliquippa, PA Armando’s in Rochester, PA Most recently @ funnyman T-Robe’s Open Mic @ déjà vu Lounge. UNI has been known to rock a crowd. UNI has also opened for national recording acts such as "Mr. Cheeks" and "Isyss" and worked and/or performed with numerous local acts hoping to start a "buzz". They are currently working on their full length album titled Q.U.I.P-.H.O.P. vol.1 to be released upon completion.
