Lyrics

Crying Song

Written By: Thomas Scott

Verse:
Everyday is the same as the one before
Everyday I find another snake in my throat
Everyday there are things I should do
But everyday I find I'm alone with you

Chorus:
So please don't cry
I don't know why
It's gonna be all right
Don't run away
Please say that you'll stay
And make it all right
All right

Verse:
Everyday there's a choice that I have to make
But everyday I learn from my mistakes
Everyday there are things I should do
But everyday I find I'm alone with you

Chorus x2

Bridge:
You gotta make it, you gotta make it all right x4

So please don't cry
I don't know why
It's gonna be all right
Don't run away
Please say that you'll stay
And make it all right
Don't run away
Please say that you'll stay
And make it all right
So please don't cry
I don't know why
It's gonna be all right

Don Quixote

Written By: Thomas Scott

I will go anywhere there's trouble on the breeze
I will do anything to set these cities free
I will know everything in every book in every language
I will show everyone that I'm not crazy crazy crazy

Chorus:
And they call me Don Quixote
And they call me "the windmill man"
I can see that the winds are changing
But how can you claim to see the wind?
And I'll ride into town on my courage
My devotion will be my sword
People laugh and call me crazy but I don't mind

I will stand up and fight every battle that I see
I will spend every night finding cures for all disease
I don't care if you think what I say cannot be done
'Cause I believe that it can, so the battle's already won

Chorus

acoustic Chorus (x3):
And they call me Don Quixote
(I will live, I will ride, I will fight, I will die)
And they call me "the windmill man"
I can see that the winds are changing
But how can you claim to see the wind?

end Chorus:
And they call me Don Quixote
And they call me "the windmill man"
I can see that the winds are changing
But how can you claim to see the wind?
And I'll ride into town on my fantasies
My devotion will be my sword
People laugh and call me crazy but I don't mind
Said I don't mind
No I don't mind
Said I don't mind

A Stone's Throw Short of Perfection

Written By: Thomas Scott

And you go
To those places where you just can't sleep
And you don't know
What to do with the secrets that you keep
What to do
With these things you can't keep clean?
You don't know why
You don't know how
But you know you hate this machine

You're gonna crash down
You're gonna burn out
You just can't figure out
What this is all about
You want a new life
You want some insight
You want to feel free
You want a remedy

Everything you want can be yours if you just believe
It might take more than just blind faith to really see
Understand that your mind may be deceived
Sometimes all it takes is the planting of a seed

And you bleed
From the knuckles on both your fists
And the pain
Is the only real thing that exists
What to do with these indentations that scream
You act as though you're fine but these walls haves eyes that see

Everything you've done is something from which you can grow
I've made mistakes too and I thought that might be something you should know

A stone's throw short
Just a stone's throw away
A stone's throw short
Just a stone's throw away
