Union Remains

Union Remains isn’t your ordinary “Rock band based out of Denver.” The band features members of Love.45, Rexway, Carolyn's Mother, Rocket Ajax, and Shoot Romeo. Enough said? If not, then this: Mike Mitchell on vocals. He sounds like a Pop-star Ozzy. This isn’t Rock for the weak-kneed, but it does have a Pop sensibility running through it. Alas: There are only four tracks on their self-titled EP, which is just enough to have you clamoring for more. If you’re like me and this CD leaves you thinking, “Mental note: Check out this band, live” – their next show is on May 21 at Bender's Tavern. Better yet: Union Remains plays at 3 pm on Saturday, June 5, on the main stage at Civic Center Park at the Capitol Hill People's Fair. It’s free, it’s outdoors, and there will be plenty of beer: Perfect!
