Unknown Anarchy

Since the age of seven, heavy baselines and classic rock from the likes of Led Zeppelin and YES have influenced the musical mind of Jake Godwin. Late night garage jams with his father on the bass, guitar, and drums paved the way for an adolescence of self-taught rock and roll. The sweet harmony of musical release carried him through years of dedicated military service; the backbone on which he fell for strength and perseverance to make it through.

These experiences have set fire to his blazing project, Unknown Anarchy: low-down dubstep beats coupled with metal influences, pure funk, and deep seeded rock roots. Unknown Anarchy seeks to destroy the norms of what current electronic music sounds like with fresh live mixing, production and original instrumentation. As well as asking listeners to embrace conscious change while feverishly questioning the social and political standards our culture has been sold.

Godwin himself credits music for his salvation from sheep mentality to forward thinking mind expansion. He presents Unknown Anarchy to his fans as not only a release from life with filthy beats on the dance floors, but also as a progressive community to cultivate change.
