Unlove contains members of the Jason Lowenstein Band, Stereobate, and BlueGreen. Our story begins in Russia and ends in Brooklyn. In the middle there are long, dense chapters about human strife, starvation, and reawakening. Near the end it starts to pick up a bit but, overall, the movie is much better because the book, alas, fails to include any sort of loud music.
