Hailing from the northeast town of Johnson, Vermont, Unstopher Rawls has been honing their skills over the past three years. The band's unique improvisation, in combination with their passion for performance, creates their signature sound through collaborative interpretations of country, jazz, funk, and rock and roll. The members of Unstopher Rawls each have a unique musical background with varying influences that range from the music of Igor Stravinsky, the Beach Boys, Charlie Parker, Speedy West, and Bill Frisell. With a diverse and large range of material, Unstopher Rawls is able to adapt to any audience.
Their motto: “Rock bands should play for more than three hours”
The motto is an extension of the attitude that the band carries to each show. Be ready to rock because Unstopher Rawls will play your favorite song; they will play a song that will soon become your favorite song; but most importantly, they will play rock songs.
