Bio
Formed in the spring of 2011, Untold Empire has already started to make a name in Northeast Tennessee. Untold Empire consists of Cameron Tate on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, David Nipper with backing vocals and lead guitar, Brad Clay on the drums, and Eric Vaughn on bass, keyboards, and automation. Continuing on through the summer, Untold Empire played a host of venues and gained acceptance from listeners through their electric shows.
Since their beginning under a year ago, they have also played the Johnson City Folk Festival, a live set on WETS’ Studio One, and an impressive sold-out show at Capone’s, one of the most popular music spots in the Northeast Tennessee region. They also have released the EP from their upcoming album “Relentless,” in which they traveled to Franklin, Tennessee to record at Matt Mahaffey's private studio. Matt is a multi-platinum record producer and song writer who has played for and/or collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, such as Pink, Beck, Lupe Fiasco, and Hellogoodbye, as well as producing scores from the Shrek movies. Untold Empire has been invited to play at the Relay For Life event on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville in April of 2012. It is a humbling opportunity for them to be able to take their passion and use it for the good of the community, to raise awareness and money to fight the disease that effects so many families.
Untold Empire can always be found playing, promoting, and attracting people with their original sound and high energy performances that will leave you wanting more! Now you can also catch them on the radio in East Tennessee, having received radio play on Local & Loud with 99.3 Z Rock, as well as working with 95.9 "The Hog" on their big Spring Jam event in 2012. You can be sure these guys will leave a lasting impression on you, and will innovate and evolve to do the same again and again!
