Victims of Society EP
Full-Length, Self-Titled, CD "Unusual Content", release October 2007

Unusual Content was formed in 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Just like the name implies, UC strives to expand the perspective of musical styles with their blend of metal and rap – “rap core”. With all original music, and influences ranging from Kottonmouth Kings to Korn, Unusual Content brings an edge and energy to every live show.

As a band, Unusual Content is focused and motivated. Their debut CD was released on October 20th, 2007 to a sold-out crowd at The Compound in Albuquerque. Their CD is currently distributed via local vendors (Hastings Entertainment, LA Underground, Record Roundup, etc.), and will soon be sold nationally via F.Y.E. (For Your Entertainment). Their web page on myspace.com has drawn over 16,000 views and plays, and boasts nearly 2,000 UC Outlaws (fans). Goals for the upcoming year include launching a southwest states tour with WolfPac and Rehab, and expanding their fan base with the implementation of a nationwide street team.

“Unusual Content closed the night with a brilliant mix of underground-rock-hip-pop sounds. They had a blast!…I had a blast too! Albuquerque Rocks!”
(Emergenza Review, Claire Kensal, Jan. 31 2006)

“When Unusual Content took the stage New Year’s Eve ’06, none of us were sure what to expect! The band lineup consists of 3 front men, a guitarist, a bassist, a drummer and a DJ. When they started to jam, the place got crazy! The unique blend of metal and rap makes their music hard to categorize! On the path of rebellion, Unusual Content is a band I prefer to have blasting in my head from my iPod! Their lyrics are prophetic to the upcoming revolution, speaking on behalf of the many people tired of being victimized by societies’ “template” for life! Plus, the intensity of these 7 crazy mutherf**kers was insane! They put on an excellent live show and have great potential to make it big.”
