"Unwanted Superheroes EPK Review"

Unwanted Superheroes EPK Review:
http://www.ushrocks.com

Unwanted Superheroes are a band of young men that hail from Pembroke Pines, Florida. What makes these rockin’ youngsters so unique is their ability to mix rock, punk, and hardcore together to pull in every one of those audiences.

I checked out three of their songs, “Read Between The Lines,” “Face Value,” and “Pistols and Petals” at http://www.purevolume.com/unwantedsuperheroes. What I heard was a band in command of their instruments, they sting like a pissed off bee. These guys rock hard and fast and take no prisoners along the way. I really appreciated the great instrumentation on the tracks I heard. I am not very crazy about hardcore but a lot of the guitar parts took the edge off that aspect.

This band has a truckload of promise and nothing but their energetic youth to make it all happen.

Bio

This South Florida 5-piece has an interesting blend of hardcore and pop-punk, combined with a unique screamo influence. Yet their songs are graced with lyrics that inspire the soul and reward the spirit.

U S H first began back in 2002, and has since kept a strong focus on their musicianship, showmanship, and their own vision of achieving recognition in today's music industry.

Their focus has helped them acquire much success in the South Florida music scene and they have very strong ambitions of making their presence known in other markets as well. Towards that end, it's safe to say that you won't find a harder working, more genuinely refreshing and original rock band than Unwanted Superheroes.

U S H has recently achieved 30,000+ page views at purevolume and is also closing in on 60,000+ plays on this ubiquitous site for today's up and coming musicians. Check their MySpace account and learn why these guys are so loved... They are truly and genuinely appreciative of every friend and fan, and go out of their way to make their shows well worth the effort to see and enjoy.

Since their initial CD release in 2004, U S H has begun to enjoy moderate success, sharing the stage with numerous national acts such as; Emery, Coheed & Cambria, Thursday, A Static Lullaby, Madison, Silverstein, Hawthorne Heights, AlexisonFire, The Beautiful Mistake, Anatomy of a Ghost, The AKAs, Burns Out Bright, Tokyo Rose, Rory, Track Record, All Rights Reserved, A Static Lullaby, Hopesfall, Rock Kills Kid, Codeseven, and Somehow Hollow.

They currently enjoy their status as hometown band at many of the more popular rock venues in the Ft. Lauderdale area, and continue to augment their already solid fan base by playing some of the better known venues in other areas of the Southeast as well.

The band is currently touring and writing new songs for inclusion in their second CD whose title and release are yet to be determined at this time.

Look for a full CD release in the first qtr of 2006...

Much Love,
