Bio
Upon Your Pedestal began in late 2008, destined to be yet another metal band. A fan of metal and hardcore as well as the brainchild of Upon Your Pedestal, grunge vocalist Tyler Crowley envisioned his own metal band. Bringing guitarist Alex Goodchild and bassist Tim Murray together with drummer Bronson Flint and clean vocalist Nathan Williams, Upon Your Pedestal was born.
After a couple less-than-awesome shows, Crowley realized he hadn't found his niche and subsequently left Upon Your Pedestal in May of 2009. Since then, the quartet has been creating music of their own genre, with a sense of their hardcore roots in their driving rhythms and epic drum parts, but going out on their own with their lyrical melodies that truly define Upon Your Pedestal.
Since the major genre change in May, Upon Your Pedestal has risen up as a major contender in the underground music scene of Northwest Michigan and has earned a reputation for creating awesome music that it continues to live up to day in and day out.
