Bio
My music is some what a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I was born in the island growing up to raggae, calypso and many more music. I always thought it would be a great idea to blend all the beautiful sounds and style that I admire to make something that has never seen before. I came from a Latin/Creole musical background. That is where most of my rhythm derrives from. I admire the art of originality. Which is what i bring in my music that is what set me apart from other rappers.UPTiMIST is a multi-talent individual, he has been writing lyrics and composing songs from an early age, "when most kids were just learning how to read their alphabets i find rhyming and composing music which was what i find fascinating". Church was my biggest inspiration, I learned all my skills from there. At the age of 14 i wrote my first Hip Hop lyric and never stop since, shortly after that i was writing for my self and others.
