I was born in Houston,Tx moved back home(Uptown 3rd Ward New Orleans)where my family is from @ the age of 2. I stayed there in the N.O. until the age of 10 then moved back to Tx(Eastside 0-2 Austin. I went back to visit family in the summer.So u can say I'm a Southern Boy.I got into the musik when I met Clinton(Checkmate)Davis back in 96-97.Its been a long time coming and its bout that time.My name(Uptown Joe)I gave it to myself reason for that was when my pops pass I became him and I'm going to hold him down til I go down ya heard me, others words I love where I come from aint nothing like New Orleans. My style of rap is a mix of Tx.&La.I call it TEXANA MUSIK its like no other out there.I'm original and feel that I'm the best at what I do.Its ABOVE ALL til I go so u hatas watch out.
