Up With The Joneses

UP WITH THE JONESES formed in 1998 by T. J. Greever, lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Matt Bohannon, lead guitar & no vocals, Walter Sergio Alvarez, bass guitar and T. R. Hill on drums. Their prolific song writing hasn't slowed since the bands inception. The chemistry between Bohannon and Greever is a testament to their musical abilities and uncompromising talent in the medium of rock n' roll. These audiophiles see their music as a culminating cauldron of popular music in the post modern world.

The crowning achievement of this diligent group is the fact that they have played over 100 shows and are consistently creating powerhouse live performances. It is these very performances that have landed them on the bill with such acts as David Gray, King's X and Southern Culture On The Skids. If this statement seems broad consider the band's influences. Funk, Rock, Jazz, Metal, Blues and Americana are key components of NUMBERS AND VULTURES, the band's full length freshman effort (released independently September 2001). The album which was completed at ULTRASOUND STUDIOS in their hometown of Chattanooga, TN. has sold hundreds of copies throughout the southeast. The band won 3 awards in the 2002 CIA Music Awards.

As the band gears up for spring touring in 2002 they will be putting the album and live show in front of thousands of people in the eastern United States.
