Feeling a bit camera shy

Formed originally back in the summer of 2003, The Urban Hate Machine has been through it's share of line up, and musical changes. Begun in the broken down bar that would become Graffiti and eventually to their first show in March of 2004 in the dining room of Moes Pizza, to their 3 day 3 state tour of the midwest in late 2005, it's been a wild ride for the uHm crew.

Original members Lloyd, Stan & Mike with former vocalist Elliot now on guitar, began their search for a vocalist in March of 2005 to fill in their original sound and become a more serious project. Trevor, formerly of Fabrication and a good friend of Mike's signed onto the project in mid April. Soon another line up change would strike the band as Lloyd departed leaving a missing link to the uHm puzzle yet again. Dustin, a long time friend of Mike & Trevors, promoter, sound man, and former bassist for Dangerous Playthings was recruited and joined on in early May.

The band began their Revenge Tour playing dates from hometown of Clinton, to Cedar Rapids and the Quad Cities. The band then entered 2X4 studio's in Des Moines to record their upcoming release Dangerous Playthings named after Dustin, Trevor, and Mike's old project. The band has since successfully toured in 4 states and is currently taking a short break from the touring scene to finish the mixing process, and begin working on some more material. The Urban Hate Machine will return Saturday February 18th to River City Brewing Company for their official CD Release party, and then begin their quest for complete dominance in the midwest.
