"House Of Mouse TONIGHT September 30th, 2010 at Churchill’s with TUSK, Urban Rebel, Keeper, Telekinetic Walrus, Space Between Words, And More"

“Another great band I discovered recently the weekend before is probably one of the most serious bands out there that are willing to break through make shit happen is Urban Rebel. They coin themselves Groove Rock, but if you wanted a direct comparison from me, I would say they’re potentially the next Rage Against The Machine with some hints of Primus. I think most bands should lead by their example by personality and they’re sense of networking and most importantly making shit happen....” - Damian C.

"Hialeah Fest 2010 Day 1: Review"

“…Urban Rebel is one of the other bands that really caught my attention. One of the important things in a music sales pitch is comparing yourself to a big name or two. If I had to compare these guys to a big name band I would have to say, Rage Against The Machine. Screaming vocals and an aggressive performance with a bad ass female drummer, outstanding guitars and a very technical and skilled bassist. The performance was out of hand along with mics being throw on the floor and the vocalist interacting with the audience by performing parts of the song with the crowd…”

Urban Rebel is a groove rock heavy funk band from Miami, Florida. The band consists of vocalist “Trip6”, bassist “LaC”, drummer “E”, guitarist “Jim Bob”.

Founded by original members Trip6 and LaC late 2008, the band went through an array of changes both musically and physically. In 2010 female drummer, "E" joined the band as they began performing their 5 song demo throughout South Florida at music festivals, showcases, local pubs and bars; such as Tobacco Road, the Stage and the Culture Room. They have also opened up major concerts for bands like Hed PE , Soil and most recently, Sevendust. By 2012 Urban Rebel became known for forming a new sound called "Street Funk Rock" with its non-stop high energy, infectious groove rock jams, screaming-melodic powerful vocals, a female drummer and very technical skilled bassist. Urban Rebel is not just a band, they are an experience.

Fans and music critics claim that "...their shows never disappoint! Not only do they have fun and love what they do, they have an insane amount of energy and it is nothing short of contagious."

Currently the group is working with Juan Cristobal Losada from Peer Music/Sonic Projects on their anticipated self-titled debut LP and set to tour in the Fall.
