Urban Transit

BandRockPop

If you go to an Urban Transit show, you'll see 4 good-looking guys playing effortlessly onstage. The songs make you want to move & leave you wanting more- or atleast a copy of their EP.They blend brit-pop/alt-rock melodies you'd want to hear on the radio with flowing lyrics, laden with deep meaning.

Biography

Columbus quartet that stared as a senior project has spent 6 years growing, against the disadvantages of distance and time. Writing all of their own material fashioned from life, they blend piano-driven, brit-pop/alt-rock melodies with lyrics that flow effortlessly together yet contain the heaviest of content, transported by the crooning, yet in-your face vocals of Dante Brunetto. Every member stands out with their own addition to the band- Joey Brunetto keeps the drive fresh and focused on drums, James Loy adds edge and emphasis with guitar riffs and unique solos, while Brett Dugan keeps the band together on the bass, unembellished yet noticeable and so essential. The band has shared the stage with many local and national touring acts such as Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, Ari Hest, Matt Wertz, Oval Opus, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and more.
